“Just For The Summer” Book Club Questions

Dearest Reader,

I’ve missed you. I hope you are having a lovely summer. It has been FAR too long. I have hit my quota for watching one show a year. It was the newest season of Bridgerton. So, if this intro is feeling very “Lady Whistledown”, you know why.

English accent aside, (were you reading that with one? because I was speaking with one) summer is that time of the year where life picks up. Between my career making the world beautiful, Pilates teacher training, my personal life filled with people (and a cute pup) I love, and creating for IG/TikTok, I am booked. To the max. And the blog has fallen to the bottom of my priority list. But I am so excited to be back and share today! It feels goooood to write without a character limit.

Today I am here to give some book club question ideas on Abby Jimenez’s newest book “Just For The Summer”. We read this for our June 2nd book club. I talked about the event on the podcast in case you want to hear a debrief on the event and our overall book rating.

That day was so special. It was our largest event and that wasn’t the only reason it was so special. Let’s just say, tears were shed! Connections made. Stories shared. And it feels so good to come together to talk about a book that hits home.

Below are our book club questions (there are spoilers) and a PDF download of the bingo we played. Just right click the image and save to download 🙂.

Bingo? You might ask. And, “yes.” I will reply. We are in our soft girl Sunday era. That means reading, book club, bingo, and chill vibes are the move. I made this little bingo card to get the girls chatting. The winner gets a $10 Starbucks gift card. Its fun and a way to meet people while we get the group settled before starting up.

I can’t wait to continue to evolve our community with more fun things that allow us these moments of connection.

I also wanted to share this for anyone who hasn’t been to one our book clubs. Consider this a little preview of what the event is like 😊. 10-second trailer really!

Happy reading 💙
